MENTAL ILLNESS DOCUMENTARY

This documentary will shed light on mental illness and the power of mentorship. It will delve into personal stories, struggles, and triumphs, aiming to create awareness and inspire hope.

"I think mentorship, friendship is so important for people with mental illness because there's that loneliness that's involved. It is so important for someone who's struggling to have that regular, nourishing connection. I want people to remember that not only the person that you help and mentor is being helped, but you yourself are being helped."

MENTORSHIP HIGHLIGHT

Exploring the impact of mentorship on individuals dealing with mental illness, this film will showcase the meaningful connections and support systems that can make a difference.

"Especially coming from a person that didn't grow up with a father. Having that mentorship and that friendship with somebody that's able to lead you and give you guidance and advice is very positive... I thank God every day that he gave me Mr. Dan to teach me and lead me in ways that I probably wouldn't have done correctly if he wasn't there."

FAMILY
TIES

"George, ever since he was a kid, has had some type of gift with helping people and not even noticing as his self as a child that he brought so much joy and peace and mercy to people without even knowing... I've noticed through him growing up, a lot of people have seeked and found some sort of... compassion and acceptance and love in my child."

AN IMPORTANT
MISSION

"I've noticed so many people just don't feel noticed... They don't feel important. They don't feel valued... The missionaries here, we try to reflect God's love to people. We value each person that we see, no matter what race, no matter what situation they're in. We value them. We see Jesus in them. And it's so important. I've seen many people heal and grow and become assets to the community... because they felt loved and valued."
